The Faculty Development Seminars have been given by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nazlı Baydar and Dr. Zuhal Zeybekoğlu from The Office of Learning and Teaching (KOLT) at Koç University. The topic of the seminars included: “Principles of Learning and Designing a Course for Learning” and “Student Civility, Assessment, and Ethics”.

Dr. Nazlı Baydar

Dr. Nazlı Baydar is the Founding Director of Koc Office of Learning and Teaching (KOLT) and an associate professor at the Department of Psychology, Koç University. Baydar attended many academic seminars and workshops related to higher education teaching and learning in Professional and Organizational Development Network in Higher Education (POD) and American Association of Colleges and Universities (AAC&U). She has organized and delivered many workshops, trainings and orientation programs to the Faculty and Teaching Assistants at Koc University, as well as other educational institutions.

Dr. Zuhal Zeybekoğlu

Dr. Zuhal Zeybekoğlu is currently the coordinator of Koc Office of Learning and Teaching (KOLT) Koç University. She worked in EU Office as Grundtvig program coordinator and Project Development Office as a project specialist. She was also a member of a team responsible for Faculty of Education Strategic Planning and Implementation. She got a certificate from the University of Oklahoma for completing an online 14-unit course “Designing courses for significant learning”. She has recently participated in a Spring school “Strengthening the value of curriculum research for curriculum policies and practice" organized by EERA Network 3.
