Catalog Description
The subject and principles of natural sciences. Basic concepts of science. The place of science among other disciplines. Historical development of science. General information about the science subjects in the primary school curriculum. Daily usage of science concepts.
Course Objectives
The aim of this course is to guide pre-service primary school teachers to acquire knowledge, concepts and skills in basic science subjects to enable them to teach the science topics in primary schools effectively.
