The objective of this course is to provide the knowledge of the components of a game design process. This starts from the creation of a game idea which is followed by turning this idea into a game concept, then defining the components such as the game world, gameplay and core mechanics, and finally ends with an implementation document.
Upon succesful completion of this course, a student will be able to

4. Identify and describe the gameplay modes in a game
5. Create the core mechanics of a game
6. Analyze a core mechanics document for game balancing
