Catalog Description
Mathematical modeling in macroeconomics. Inter-temporal consumption- saving and labor-leisure choice. Exogenous growth. Introduction to neo- classical growth model. Business cycles. Theories of unemployment.
Course Objectives

The aim of this course is to introduce students the mathematical modeling of macroeconomics. The course will provide students an introduction to inter-temporal consumption-saving and labor-leisure choice, exogenous growth, neo-classical growth model and business cycles.

Software Usage
Students will use MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Power point) to work on their weekly assignments about 2 hours a week.
