1. Sosyoloji ile ilgili temel kavramları kendi ifadelerini kullanarak yorumlayacak
2. Sosyolojik düşünmenin ("sociological imagination") ne olduğuna ilişkin kendi tanımını oluşturacak
3. Eğitim ve toplumsal tabakalaşma arasındaki ilişkinin çözümlemesini yapacak
4. Türkiye ve dünyadan seçtiği iki eğitim reformu hareketi arasında karşılaştırma yapacak
