Upon succesful completion of this course, a student will be able to
1. Analyze instructional tasks and modify them to apply in own teaching.
2. Follow and identify students’ problem solving phases.
3. Diagnose students’ errors in problem solving and make instructional decisions to correct them.
4. Design mathematical tasks for assessment purposes (e.g. prior knowledge, learning process).
5. Identify the relationships among mathematical skills (connection, communication, reasoning, representation, problem solving)
6. Evaluate own teaching and identify pedagogical goals
7. Develop and implement activities for teaching mathematics.
8. Choose and use appropriate manipulatives for teaching mathematics.
