1. Develop effective grading rubrics to assess student performance and to promote active learning in the classroom.
2. Distinguish between different sources and types of assessment.
3. Identify the key principles of authentic and student-centered assessment.
4. Explain how to interpret and utilize assessment data to improve learning in the classroom.
5. Compare and contrast the merits of authentic and standardized assessment paradigms
6. Design an overall grading plan that illustrates the use of various types of assessment tools and reporting methods.
