Catalog Description
Course Objectives

This course is intended to give students the opportunity to draw together the knowledge and skills learned throughout their undergraduate education. Students will work in small groups to develop a research proposal or project. In addition, students will prepare both a substantial written paper and an oral presentation regarding the practice in school internship.

Upon succesful completion of this course, a student will be able to
1. demonstrate knowledge of the research and methods used in guidance and counseling
2. develop writing, reviewing, and editing abilities to a substantial degree.
3. evaluate the social dynamics and processes that can impact work groups, and be better prepared to work with team members 
4. critically evaluate about issues and situations encountered while working at their service learning placement site.
