Course Objective: 

This course aims to introduce fundamental visual communication techniques and basic drawing techniques to communicate complex visual information, and places emphasis on the use of drawing process as a part of design process.

Learning Outcomes: 

Upon succesful completion of this course, a student will be able to
1. to understand the basic principles of graphic communication
2. to conceptualize visual and graphic expression
3. to produce two and three-dimensional architectural drawings and models through using orthographic, paralline, pictorial drawing and rendering techniques
4. to use graphic communication techniques
5. to produce quality work; accurate and neat drawings and models, correct line hierarchy, line quality and lettering
6. to organize a clear and coherent presentation
7. to use different techniques and media as a major part of the design process
8. to be aware of the relationship between design and different means of architectural communication
