Course Objective: 

The first summer practice encourages students to observe the atmosphere of an actual building site, to experience building methods and to participate in building processes in situ. It is an introduction to building materials and their simple use and application techniques.

Learning Outcomes: 

Upon succesful completion of this course, a student will be able to
1. learn the necessities, tasks and duties of an actual building site and take active roles in the building of a small-scaled structure;
2. according to the chosen site and structure, get introduced to various building materials and their application techniques;
3. learn to work collectively in a team and take the responsibility of different tasks;
4. develop the ability to document an actual building process.
