Course Objective: 

The course aims to introduce the basic principles of construction management, rules and regulations of construction, provide an understanding of the issues related to the application of construction and management principles, and covers the roles and responsibilities of different parties in different phases of the construction process.

Learning Outcomes: 

Upon succesful completion of this course, a student will be able to
1. recognize the basic principles of construction process and construction management
2. identify the role and responsibilities of the architect in different phases of the project
3. recognize and practice the information technologies and computer applications utilized in the construction process
4. be able to define the phases of construction process and the administrative and financial issues affecting the construction and management processes
