Öykü Yücel

Öykü Yücel completed her high school education at TED Ankara College. She graduated from Bilkent University, Faculty of Business Administration with a BS degree in Management. Upon completing her thesis on Capital Asset Pricing Models, she received her MS degree from Ankara University Business Administration Department. She continues her Ph.D. studies at Ankara University Faculty of Political Science, Business Administration Department. Her research interests are green energy, renewable energy applications, electricity market pricing, ESG investing, sustainable finance, economic & financial aspects of smart cities. She was part of an Erasmus Plus K203 Strategic Partnership project that developed an innovative one-week teaching program related to energy usage and green public transportation in smart cities. She was a team member of the institutional research fund project investigating the impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic on the capital structures of Turkish public firms. She is involved in the Erasmus Plus KA220 Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education project. She is working at TED University as a Research and Teaching Assistant, mainly in accounting and finance courses.
