Jeffrey Bergstrand

University of Notre Dame

Jeffrey Bergstrand is a professor in the Department of Finance (formerly, Finance and Business Economics) in the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame and a Concurrent Professor in the Department of Economics at Notre Dame. Research interests span both theoretical and empirical models of international trade, foreign direct investment, and international finance.

Peter Egger

University of Zurich (ETH Zurich)

Peter Egger is a professor in the Department of Management, Technology, and Economics in ETH Zurich, Switzerland. Research interests are applied and theoretical econometrics (panel econometrics, spatial econometrics), applied and theoretical international and regional economics (outsourcing; multinational firms; gravity models, economic integration; new economic geography), industrial organization and multinational firms.

 

 

Bernard Hoekman

European University Institute and CEPR

Bernard Hoekman is the Director of the research strand “Global Economics: Multilateral Cooperation and Policy Spillovers”. He has held various senior positions at the World Bank, including Director of the International Trade Department and Research Manager in the Development Research Group. His current research focuses on the functioning of the multilateral trading system (WTO), international transactions in services, the relationship between competition and trade policy, the economics of regional economic integration, and channels of international technology diffusion.
