Call for Papers

TED University Trade Research Center (TEDUTRC) invites submissions of papers and expressions of interest in attending the International Conference of TRC. As monetary tightening by advanced economies continues while trade protectionism is on the rise, emerging markets and developing economies face a number of new challenges. In this perspective, we aim to discuss the effects of such developments on the global economy, monetary policy and financial markets with a special emphasis on contemporary challenges faced by emerging economies.

Important Dates
- Your one-page abstract should be submitted before March 18, 2019.
- Abstracts should include the papers motivations, data, methodology, expected results and conclusions. JEL classification and up to 3 keywords should be included.
- Conditional acceptance of abstracts for the conference will be sent to authors by March 25, 2019.
- Your full paper should be submitted before May 20, 2019.
- Announcement of the program will be made by May 27, 2019.
- Your abstract and full paper should be submitted to trc@tedu.edu.tr.

Registration Fees
Fees are to cover conference information & documentation, two lunches, and coffee breaks during the conference.
Registration (before June 3, 2019): 250 TL
Late registration (after June 3 and before June 13): 350 TL
On-site registration: 500 TL 

Conference Proceedings and Language
Presented papers will be published as a proceedings e-book in line with academic performance criteria.
The conference will be conducted in English.
