Ankara Social Innovation Ecosystem Mapping Study
Istasyon TEDU has been working on mapping the social innovation ecosystem of Ankara since September 2016. The visualisation has been made using kumu.io. Visualisation focused on the functions carried out by the actors. The work is in progress, to explore it click here.
The social innovation ecosystem in Ankara is at an early stage. Essential actors and mechanisms are not in place. There is isolation between sectors (private, public, citizen). Relations and interactions between actors are spontaneous and event-based. There is no specific platform or network ensuring the flow of information or facilitating interaction among (possible) stakeholders. Partnerships usually dissolve at the end of projects.
