Eser Köken İşleyici was born in Nicosia in 1983. She graduated from Turkish Maarif Collage in 2000. After graduating from Middle East Technical University (METU) Faculty of Architecture in 2005, she took theoretical and design courses from Integrated Urban Development and Design master program as an exchange student at Bauhaus University - Weimar between 2007-2008. She has received her M.Arch degree in 2008 from Urban Design Program, METU – City and Regional Planning Department. Between 2006-2007, she worked for Uygur Architecture in several architectural design and application projects. She has been continuing her architectural studies at various scales in the BIM-based design environment at ÖZKÖK Architecture (Cyprus) with Yücel Köken since 2005 and at Ofis16 Architecture as the founding partner since 2010. She has various awards from architectural project competitions she participated in. She was a jury member at the Archiprix-2018 competition and attended to various universities’ end of term design presentations as a jury member. Between 2019-2022, she worked as a part-time instructor in the 3rd year design studio of Başkent University. Since 2022 she is attending to 4th year design studio of TED University as a part-time instructor. She is a member of the Turkish Freelance Architects Association.
