NOVEMBER 10th COMMEMORATION CEREMONY FOR ATATÜRK
A commemoration ceremony was held on our campus for the 80th anniversary of Atatürk’s passing. The ceremony was attended by Prof. Belgin Ayvaşık, our Rector, Prof. Levend Parnas and Prof. Şebnem Akipek Öcal, our Vice Rectors, our faculty members, students and administrative staff.
The commemoration started with wreath-laying ceremony by Prof. Belgin Ayvaşık, our Rector, at the Atatürk bust which was followed by a-minute’s silence and the singing of the Turkish National Anthem. The ceremony ended with all TEDU members leaving flowers in front of Atatürk’s bust.
