Yılmaz was born in Silivri in 1999. She graduated from Hacettepe University Information and Document Management Department in 2022 as a High Honor student. She worked as an intern at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey and the Informascope company. She performed the metadata entries of the articles within the scope of the TR-Index Project carried out with TÜBİTAK - ULAKBİM at MANTIS software company.
She has been working voluntarily as the Website Manager and Digital Archive Staff at the Turkish Charity Association since 2017, and as the Publication Editor of the Turkish Librarianship Magazine since 2023.
As of August 2022, he has been working as an Assistant Library Specialist at TED University Ayşe Ilıcak Library.
