Course Objectives

The aim of this course is to engage teacher candidates in teaching and learning experiences in a real school setting, and reflecting on those experiences.

Upon completion of this course, the student should be able to:

 

  1. exemplify the roles of English education professionals,
  2. plan appropriate activities by using English education curriculum,
  3. employ a variety of appropriate instructional approaches, strategies and tools in in elementary, middle and high  school settings,
  4. use multiple assessment techniques to monitor learning and instruction in English lessons,
  5. evaluate how teachers involve families in their children’s development and learning,
  6. engage in personal and professional development activities.
