Analysis of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. Pricing acquisitions. Pre-merger analysis. Synergy concept. Negotiation strategies. Post-merger or acquisition restructuring. Financing strategies.
Course Objectives

The main objective of this course is to explain the key principles and techniques of successful mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.

Software Usage
Students will use MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint) to work on their weekly assignments about 2 hours a week.

Upon succesful completion of this course, a student will be able to
