Catalog Description
The differences between young learners and learners at other ages; classroom management; multiple intelligence; various activity types (e.g., games, songs, and craft); (digital) storytelling; assessment and evaluation.
Course Objectives

To see the differences between young learners and very young learners; to identify activities (games, songs and craft) for young learners; to select materials based on a certain criteria; to familiarize students with the classroom management and assessment techniques.

1. Identify characteristics of very young and young learners, 
2. Recognize theories on teaching languages to young learners,
3. Practice activities for young learners (game, song & craft),

6. Examine tests for young learners,
7. Demonstrate examples of drama and storytelling in young learners’ classes.
