Kick-off: Calculating Our Carbon and Water Footprint

In line with the sustainability, institutional capacity building, and environmental responsibility goals set forth in our University’s 2023–2027 Strategic Plan, the planning meeting marking the commencement of our Carbon and Water Footprint calculation studies has been successfully conducted. This process holds strategic importance in measuring our resource consumption and managing our environmental impact through tangible data.
During the first session of the meeting, the methodology, roadmap, and data collection processes were detailed; in the second session, global best practices were examined alongside a TEDU demo presentation to demonstrate the system's operational framework. We extend our gratitude to all stakeholders who attended and contributed to this meeting, where the critical role of inter-departmental data sharing and coordination was emphasized to ensure the successful advancement of our sustainable campus vision.
