Ahu Avcı

Ahu Avcı was born in Izmir in 1982. After graduating from Izmir İnönü High School, she completed her undergraduate studies at Ankara University, Faculty of Science, Department of Mathematics.

Avcı began her professional career during her university years as an Event Coordinator for various organizations. Subsequently, she worked for a private company affiliated with TURSAB, taking part in domestic and international promotional activities conducted under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. During this period, she gained extensive experience in international promotional events and organizational planning. Additionally, she played an active role for two years in the opening process and operational organizations of the CerModern Arts Center.

Since 2011, Avcı has been serving within the TED Higher Education Foundation. As of 2022, in her role as Event Office Manager, she manages the planning, coordination, and execution of academic, cultural, and corporate events across the university.

She continues her work specializing in event strategy development, stakeholder management, arts and culture organizations, and corporate event planning.
