Aslı Aygüneş joined the Center for Social Innovation Center at TED University – İstasyonTEDÜ in 2023 as the Project Coordinator. At İstasyonTEDÜ, she provides expertise in overseeing national and international funding opportunities, preparing funding applications, and managing different projects.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in American Culture and Literature from Bilkent University in 2015 and completed her master’s degree in Gender Studies at the University of South Florida in the United States in 2017. In 2023, she received her Ph.D. in Gender Studies from Sabancı University with her dissertation titled “Mobilizing Through Affect: Gendered Experiences and Practices in Feminist Struggle in Turkey.” In addition to participating in various international conferences, Aslı Aygüneş worked as a project assistant on two research projects at Sabancı University funded by the Raoul Wallenberg Institute and the Swedish Institute. Her research interests include the feminist movement and activism in Turkey, affect theory, and the role of emotions in transformative feminist organizing practices.
