Ekin Ç. Turhan,  graduated from the Gazi University Faculty of Engineering and Architecture in 1996 and received her masters' degree from the METU Faculty of Architecture in 2000 with her thesis titled  'An Analysis of the Late Twentieth Century's lsochronal Discourses on Architectural Context; The Aga Khan Award for Architecture'. During this period, she collaborated with a variety of  teams and offices as well as continuing her work as a research assistant in design studios between 1997-2001.

To this day, she has 15 awarded projects in both national and international architectural project competitions. Turhan, who has published articles and speeches,  has also served as a jury member at national architectural project competitions.

Turhan, who is a member of TSMD, the Turkish Association of Architects in Private Practice, undertook the chairmanship of the TSMD-Architecture Center Executive Board in 2012-2014, in which she also took an active role in its establishment.

Since 2008, she continues her work and research as a partner of Ercan Çoban Architects.

Turhan is a graduate of TED Ankara College.
