Ergün Alkan

Ergün Alkan graduated from TED Ankara College in 1963 and later earned his law degree from Ankara University Faculty of Law. He began his career as a freelance lawyer before joining Ray Insurance Co. and the Gama Group, where he worked as both a lawyer and executive. He went on to serve for many years as the General Manager and a Board Member at Gama Trade and Tourism Co.

Throughout his career, Alkan has held various board positions at the Turkish Education Association (Türk Eğitim Derneği), TED Ankara College Foundation, TED Ankara College Alumni Association, and Kolejliler Sports Club. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Honorary Council of the TED Ankara College Alumni Association.

A passionate sports enthusiast, Alkan played and coached volleyball for many years at Kolejliler Sports Club and later served as Vice President of the Turkish Volleyball Federation.

Ergün Alkan is married and has two children and two grandchildren.
