Mehmet Ali Yılmaz
Between 2005 and 2016, he served in various positions within the Turkish Armed Forces, gaining valuable experience in information technology infrastructure, system administration, and enterprise applications. These experiences provided a solid foundation for his subsequent managerial responsibilities.
He began his tenure at the University in December 2016 and served between 2016 and 2023 in the Information Technologies Department as a System Administrator and SAP Basis Specialist. During this period, he contributed to the secure and uninterrupted operation of the University’s IT infrastructure and also managed the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS) project, assuming significant responsibilities as the ISMS Manager.
As of January 2023, he was promoted to Manager of Administrative Affairs, responsible for coordinating and managing the subunits within the Administrative Affairs. He oversaw personnel management, task allocation, and the efficient and effective execution of services, supporting collaborative teamwork. He ensured the security of the University’s technical infrastructure and provided leadership for security, cleaning, transportation, and other support services to maintain quality standards.
He managed procurement, tender, and contract processes in compliance with relevant regulations, with transparency and accountability, while also planning central and unit budgets to ensure the efficient use of resources. He played an active leadership role in ensuring the proper and timely execution of corporate correspondence and document management processes, as well as in planning and implementing occupational health and safety activities. He contributed significantly to quality management and internal audit processes, coordinated the preparation of periodic reports, and participated in various university committees and commissions, supporting strategic decision-making and the achievement of institutional objectives.
Academically, he completed the Master’s Program in Educational Institution Management at the University in 2023.
