Naile Afacan

 Naile Buluç was born in Ankara on June 24, 1987. She graduated from Kalaba Anatolian High School in 2005. She entered METU to study Philosophy in 2006. In the same year she applied for the internal transfer and managed to transfer from the Philosophy Department to the English Language Teaching in her first year. She received her Bachelor’s degree in English Language Teaching in 2011. Before working at Istanbul Kültür University in 2011, she had worked as an English teacher at private courses. In 2011, she started working at Istanbul Kültür University as an instructor and Elementary Level Testing coordinator. She took her CELTA certificate from Cambridge University in 2012. During the years she worked as a testing coordinator at Istanbul Kültür University, she regularly participated in the workshops given by Peter Holt and Tony Gurr.
