Basic concepts of science education. Science and technology literacy. Science-technology-society-environment relationship. Historical development of science education. Characteristics of primary school science program. Constructivist approach and science learning. Teaching- learning methods and techniques related with constructivist approach and sample applications.

This course aims to provide undergraduate primary school students with basic knowledge and skills on teaching science topics.
