Catalog Description
Educational, visual design and language expression features and standards that should be included in the mathematics educational tools and e-contents. The appropriateness of the mathematics educational tools and e-contents to the program. Analysis of current mathematics educational tools and e-contents based on the aspects of content, language, student level, format, attractiveness, contribution to meaningful learning, ease of use in teaching. Development of education tool and e-content for mathematics instruction.
Course Objectives

The aim of this course is to provide students with a critical perspective towards mathematics educational tools and e-contents, and their appropriate use in instructional process. By analyzing several educational tools and e-contents for middle school mathematics from different aspects, students will gain deep understanding based on the desired features and the use of mathematics educational tools and e-contents for different purposes.

1. analyze essential features and standards that should be included in the educational tools and e-contents,
2. investigate current situation of middle school mathematics educational tools and e-contents based on essential features,

4. select appropriate samples of mathematics educational tools and e-contents for specific instructional purposes,
5. prepare a sample educational tool and e-content including desired features and standards.
