Catalog Description
The objectives of primary school mathematics teaching and basic principles. Analysis of primary mathematics curriculum from the aspects of the aim, content, philosophical approach, teaching methods, evaluation, and evaluation techniques. Mathematical understanding of primary school students, misconceptions, and difficulties of primary school students. Measurement and assessment in primary school mathematics.
Course Objectives

This course aims to provide students with a deep understanding of primary school mathematics curriculum and its components. In addition to this, primary school students’ profiles from the aspect of learning of mathematics, common errors, and misconceptions they have will be analyzed.
