Catalog Description
General knowledge on the constitutional background: Types of Constitutions, Meanings of Constitutions, Constitutional Amendment; Unitary and federal states, Presidential and parliamentary government. Recent Turkish Constitutions: Ottoman-Turkish constitutional development; Preamble of the 1982 Constitution; Features of Republic and irrevocable provisions; Fundamental rights and freedoms and restrictions; Legislative, executive and judicial powers and the principle of separation of powers. Principle of equality. Constitutional Court.
