Catalog Description
Basic knowledge on the elements and components of buildings and structures. Fundamental principles of structural behaviors. Production of construction and material drawings like staircases and reflected ceiling.
Course Objectives

The aim of this course is to identify, sketch and analyze the system components that make up the whole building. Furthermore, students are expected to learn the building systems, interior building materials and application techniques. This leads to a systematic and holistic understanding of structures, constructions, and buildings.

Course Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

1. Categorize the relationships between building systems,

2. Establish appropriate construction, material, and detail relationships between building components,

3. Design solutions in the application methods of building components,

4. Define different properties of building materials in rough and finishing construction works.
