Eurasian political economy and societies since the 19th century. The Soviet revolution and its effects to the Eurasian region. Soviet foreign policy. Russian foreign policy in the post-Cold War era. The domestic and foreign policies of former Soviet countries after the fall of the Soviet Union. Relations of Eurasian states with Western states and NATO.
