Catalog Description
Sexual information for protecting and improving physical, emotional, and social health; precautions, different sexual behaviors; cultivating attitudes and values, decision-making, safe sexual behaviors; sexual health education programs.
Course Objectives

This course aims to provide students with a framework which is necessary for protecting and improving physical, emotional, and social health and defining safe sexual behaviors.

By the end of this course, students will be able to:

1. Define the scope of sexual health education,

2. Define the process of development of values regarding sexual health,

3. Explain the physical and psychological development of adolescents,

4. Know and transfer fundamental information with regard to the stages of sexual identity development and reproductive health.

5. Prepare sexuality education programs.
