Course Objectives

The main goal of this course is to develop an understanding of the fundamental techniques to analyze electrical circuits. It is also aimed to give experimental verification of results and conclusions drawn during EE 202 Circuit Theory II course.

Course Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
(1) Get hands-on with workshop tasks (such as soldering, wiring, data collection using basic measurement equipment, operating electrical engineering equipment, etc.),
(2) Measure basic circuit concepts, such as voltage, current, and power by using experimental setups and measurement equipment,
(3) Perform experiments on diode circuits,
(4) Perform experiments on impedance measurement,
(5) Perform experiments on frequency response,
(6) Interpret experimental on BJT circuits,
(7) Use software tools (such as LTSpice, Matlab) to aid in analyzing electrical circuits,
(8) Display a professional commitment to group work,
(9) Exercise technical writing skills through reports.
