Catalog Description
Area of social psychology and its research methods. Social perception and social cognition, attitudes and theories of changing attitudes. Psychological processes which influence social behavior, social effect and compliance. Group dynamics and cultural diversity. Interpersonal relationships. Similarities and differences of these subjects.
Course Objectives

Objective of this course is to examine the basic concepts, perspectives, theories, and subfields of social psychology.

1. describe major social psychological phenomena and theories,

2. critique the major theories and research findings in social psychology,
