Technology Life-Cycle, Technology Readiness Level concept and current practices, Intellectual Property Rights, Types of Intellectual Property Protection, Novel Strategies on Intellectual Assets Management and Commercialisation, Technology Entrepreneurship, Understand target market and positioning of product/service in the market, Use of Business Canvas Methodology in Business Model Development, Current practices by case studies

Course Objectives

• Raise an awareness on global science and technology trend analysis and its importance
• Discuss critical steps and components of competitive technology development process and technology commercialisation
• Understand the importance of Intellectual Property Rights and types of Intellectual Property Protection 
• Discuss different strategies on Intellectual Assets Management and Commercialization
• Raise an awareness on critical components of technology entrepreneurship and the tools used in commercialization, with a focus on Business Canvas Model
