Critical approaches in the field of cultural studies and their use in the analysis of selected literary texts and cultural products.
Course Objectives
The main objective of this course is to equip students with a set of critical tools and interpretive strategies to analyse cultural products and representations.
Course Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, students will
- have a thorough understanding of the key terms and concepts of cultural studies, and they will be able to apply a new vocabulary of concepts to everyday life
- will be able to analyse a wide range of cultural products and representations from different critical perspectives
- to employ critical thinking strategies within an interdisciplinary framework
