Catalog Description

Concepts related to social skills, components of social skills, social skill acquisiton, models and measurement of social skills, social skills for dealing with difficult people; emotional expressivity, emotinal awareness, emotion regulation; social expressivity, soacial awareness and social control.

Course Objectives

The main aim of this course is to introduce to  basic social skills and its acquisiton.

1. define understanding of related concepts about social skills, components of social skills.
2. describe models and measurement of social skills.
3. recognize the importance of emotional and social awareness and expressivity.

 4. demonstrate knowledge of strategies used for dealing with difficult people.
