Ömer Faik ANLI, Ph.D., Associate Professor

In 2006, he graduated from the Philosophy Department of the Faculty of Language and History-Geography, Ankara University with a thesis on "Investigation of Kierkegaard’s Spheres of Existence in the Context of Dostoyevski’s   ‘The Brothers Karamazov’" Between 2006-2008, he completed his graduate education in the Department of Systematic Philosophy and Logic at Ankara University under the thesis title of "The Congruity of Pragmatism – Realism in Richard Rorty". He began his PhD education in 2008 and accomplished the program with his PhD thesis titled "Anti-Science Theses After Positivism and The Transformation of 19th Century Science Image". At present he is working as an associate professor in Ankara University, Department of Philosophy.

His research interests lie in the area of epistemology, philosophy and history of science, post-positivism and sociology of science. He puplished several papers in refereed academical journals. And also he wrote a book titled Science Wars –Transformation of Modern Science Image-.
