Şaziye Arık Serter

Şaziye ARIK SERTER was born in Adana in 1974. She graduated from Ankara Atatürk High School (Taş Mektep). She completed her undergraduate education at Anadolu University, Faculty of Communication Sciences, Department of Communication Arts, graduating in 1998 as the third-ranked student in her department.

She began her professional career during her university years through various internships (TRT News Center, Turkish Grand National Assembly Communication Office, Admar Agency, Cey Agency, Sabah Gazetesi).

She later worked in the Council and Professional Committee Unit of the Istanbul Chamber of Shipping (İMEAK), enriching her career with experience in a different city and sector. Her first position as a higher education administrative staff member was in various administrative units at TOBB University of Economics and Technology. She worked at TOBB ETÜ for nearly 15 years.

Since November 2023, she has been working as the Department Secretary of the Dean’s Office at the Faculty of Engineering at TED University, holding the position of Faculty Secretary.

She is married and a mother of two children.
