Tarık Uzun

Tarık Uzun received his BA degree from Hacettepe University, Department of Linguistics in 2005, and his MA and PhD degrees from Ankara University Graduate School of Social Sciences, Foreign Language Teaching Program in 2013 and 2019 respectively. As a Fulbright Visiting Research Scholar, he did doctoral research on second language pronunciation at Iowa State University, Department of Applied Linguistics and Technology in 2017-2018 academic year. In his professional career, he worked as an instructor of English, instructor of Turkish as a foreign language and assistant director at Ankara University TOMER Trabzon Branch, and an instructor of English at TOBB University of Economics and Technology, Department of Foreign Languages. Uzun is currently based at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University School of Foreign Languages where he works as an instructor of English and Independent Learning Center (ILC) coordinator. He also teaches must and elective courses at TED University English Language Education Program.
