As part of the 18th Dr. Aysun Küçükel and Dr. Ahmet Küçükel Medical Awards presented by the Güven Education and Health Foundation, Prof. Dr. Gökçe Nur Yılmaz, Head of the Department of Computer Engineering at our university, was recognized for her contributions to technology and software development processes “A Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-Based Mobile Application for Preventing Emotional and Behavioral Problems in Adolescents with Intellectual Disabilities (ÖZERK)” was awarded the “Digital Transformation and Innovative Perspective in Healthcare Award.”✨️
This project, which combines digital solutions with scientific approaches in the field of child and adolescent mental health, aims to strengthen the emotional and behavioral skills of adolescents with intellectual disabilities.
We congratulate the project leader, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sabide Duygu Uygun (Ankara University), and all the academics who contributed to this project, which serves as a strong example of interdisciplinary collaboration.
