Our University continues to constantly improve its quality assurance system and adopt a data-driven, participatory, and sustainable approach in all its processes. In this context, an information meeting was held regarding the 2025 Institutional Self-Evaluation Report (ISER).

During the meeting, participants were informed about the scope and purpose of the ISER 2025 report—prepared under the coordination of the Quality Commission with the contributions of all academic and administrative units—as well as its role in the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK) Institutional Accreditation Program (IAP) process. It was emphasized that ISER 2025 is a comprehensive self-evaluation output that analyzes the performance of our university's education, research, social contribution activities, and administrative services within the framework of YÖKAK criteria.

It was stated that this report, which is a vital component of the journey to internalize the culture of quality assurance in higher education, guides continuous improvement processes by revealing the institution's strengths and areas open to development. The importance of creating a common awareness throughout the institution regarding quality assurance processes and the ownership of the quality culture by all stakeholders was particularly highlighted. Within the scope of the event, the basic framework of the YÖKAK Institutional Accreditation Program, the TEDU Quality Assurance and Management System, and the structure and evaluation criteria of the ISER were discussed.

The meeting also addressed our university's efforts to maintain a student-centered approach in education, develop the research ecosystem with qualified outputs, and integrate social contribution activities with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. It was expressed that the areas identified for improvement in the report are treated as opportunities for institutional development, and various transformation and improvement activities have been planned accordingly.
