The project titled Vicarious Threat Cycle: Precarious Manhood and the Dynamics of Women's Self -Silencing in Romantic Relationships by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Beril Türkoğlu Demirel, faculty member of the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, has been funded under the TÜBİTAK 3501 program. The project aims to identify the cultural and individual factors that influence women's self-silencing and, in the long term, their well-being and empowerment; as well as to develop a new measurement tool that accurately captures these parameters.
