Catalog Description
Fundamental principles of contract law. Construction administration. Contract types. Public tender contracts. FIDIC contracts. Time extension and change orders. Delay analysis. Principles of claims. Examples and case studies.
Course Objectives
This course aims to reinforce students' theoretical knowledge by introducing practical aspects of contracting, construction technology, engineering and prepare the students for their professional life. The main objective of this course is to transfer the practical knowledge accumulated within the construction industry to next generation engineers.
