Independent research. Literature review. Data Analysis. Writing an analytical research paper. Presentation in written and oral form.
Course Objectives
The objective of this course is to teach how to specify a research question and to teach formal ways to answer this question. Specifically, students will learn reviewing literature in a specific field as well as using their analytical skills to conduct analysis. In addition, they will improve their writing and presentation skills.
Course Learning Outcomes
Students who complete this course should be able to:
- Review the relevant literature.
- Develop a specific research question.
- Develop a testable hypothesis.
- Collect data to test hypothesis.
- Use statistical analysis to test the hypotheses.
