The main aim of the course is to explain the changing nature of the finance-based on the SDGs. This course will provide a holistic understanding of theoretical, conceptual, and practical tools for the sustainable finance and ESG investing. This framework aims to redefine investment and finance framework based on the ESG investing metrics. At the end of the course, students will have a clear insight about sustainable finance and ESG investing.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:
1.Relate sustainable investment, green finance, and corporate financial performance,
2.Analyze CO2 emission market, ESG metrics, climate risk pricing, and socially responsible investing,
3.Evaluate corporate social responsibility (CSR) and corporate financial performance relationship,
4.Interpret mandatory and voluntary environment for ESG and sustainability accounting and reporting.
