The contest is held today at more than 1,000 universities around the world and is considered the world's largest social entrepreneurship competition. The competition is hosted by the United Nations (UN), and each year a topic is declared by the United Nations, addressing the world's problems, as announced by Bill Clinton. It is expected university students set up companies that also find innovative solutions to these problems.

This contest was shown by TIME Magazine and Bill Clinton as one of the top five initiatives that changed the world. Hult Prize, the most prestigious student competition in the world and shown as Nobel Prize for students.

This year, TED University will be one of the universities where the Hult Prize’s campus foot will take place. The group that finds the best solution to the problem that Bill Clinton has announced will be determined by the juries in the event that will take place at our university and will be directly entitled to participate in the world regional finals. If  they become successful in the regional phase, they will get expert support from companies such as Google, Intel, Amazon and have the chance to win 1M$.
